Default MAOI? Anyone?

Has anyone used an MAOI for major depression? Please share your experience.
If no one has, I guess that answers "Is it worth it?".

Hi. I was on Nardil for about 20 yrs. It was the only med that worked for me. The restrictions can be aggravating, but it was that or simply existing. What MAOI are you actually supposed to start? Maybe that would help me help you.

Default

I've been on EMSAM (patch) for a while, but only 6mg. No restrictions, but also no results. Dr. wants to increase, but I worry the diet will make OCD worse. I'm also broke (!) and can't afford fresh food all the time. Nardil was recommended for me too.

Can you tell me why you're switching after all this time? (Edit: Never mind; I just read your other post.)

The diet, w/d... the stuff better work.
