Unhappy Lots of drugs, too many side effects.

My Diagnosis: Insomnia, Anxiety, Agoraphobia, Depression, Chronic Migraines.
My Med List (last night, all as perscribed):

Topamax 100mg x2
Effexor 75mg x2 (new to it)
Inderal LA 80mg
Buspar dividose 15mg x3
Zyrtec (for gastritis, 3 pills of 150 mg)
Maxalt 10mg

not perscripted: unknown amount of hydrocodone. around 1,000-1,500mg*which i'm usually on anyways*

Now, here comes the question/story. I hadn't slept the night before, which isn't unusual, my anxiety keeps me awake and i didnt feel like taking my sleeping pill. so day 2, its about 7:30pm, my anxiety isn't bad and hasn't been bad lately because i've stuck to my meds. all of a sudden i start seeing hallucinations. we were watching the covenant (me and my boyfriend, who just being around him calms me down) and it seemed like every evil image was coming right at my face and would stare down at me. my whole body was shaking. It wasn't a panic attack, my heart rate and respirations were fine, I was just seeing weird things. (mind you I saw parts of the movie the night before and they weren't coming at me then)

I've been reading the effexor questions, i see that most people are on 75mg, but i'm on 150 a day as a starting dose (I've only been on effexor for 2 weeks). Has anyone else experienced this? Or could it be that on top of no sleep?

My doctors really aren't much help with anything, they think i'm faking everything, and with my insurance, I'm stuck seeing them.

Believe it or not but just lack of sleep csn cause this.I'm more worried about your hydrocodone abuse.I have been an addict for 26-27 years with the last 4+ in recovery with methadone.Opiate abuse can cause depression, agoraphobia and anxiety and insomnia.Have you looked into suboxone for this???.......Good luck....Dave

Nah it's not abuse, it's just I have chronic back pain and doctors are of no help.
I've gotten scripts here and there, trying to find a pain specialist, but none of my doctors will refer me to one so insurance will cover it because "the x-rays came out fine" ahhhh

The anxiety, depression, agoraphobia came before the chronic pain, tha's why they put me on effexor because it's supposed to "help with the pain of depression" which is supposidly what i'm experiencing.

Yea... thats the first place I was sent when my drug list started getting higher and higher. She was the one who switched me from paxil to effexor. She pretty much said follow my family doctor's orders, and my family doctor said follow my pysciatrist's orders... so its like "dad saying 'go ask your mom if it's okay', and mom saying 'go ask your dad'" kind of thing.
