Default Lamisil & Pregnancy

Hello, I am hoping that I can get a quick answer to this question. I've been googling all week and have yet to find any solid facts.

I just found out that on Saturday July 2nd I am 9 weeks pregnant. I have been taking lamisil, opting for the 3 month treatment since March 12th but stopped 10 days short of the completion of the treatment. I was told that the drug stays in your blood system for 6-9 months. Of course I didn't know I was pregnant, and now my OB is suggesting I terminate out of fears of what the medicine may have done to the fetus.

Can someone please tell me my risks? According to my last period and the amount of weeks I am, I would say that I only took the lamisil for about 2 or three weeks (from conception) because I lost it on my honeymoon and couldn't continue.

I have found no conclusive facts on the effects of lamisil and pregnancy. Please help me.

Thanks.Text

I didn't look real hard for you, but goggling "lamisil teratogenic"
brought up: CATEGORY:B
BREAST FEEDING: Excreted into breast milk. Contraindicated.
NEONATAL SIDE EFFECTS
~~~~~~~~~~
Category B is: Animal studies have revealed no evidence of harm to the fetus, however, there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
OR
Animal studies have shown an adverse effect, but adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in any trimester.
The best source of information is the pharmacology info. sheet that comes in all the pharmacy bottles, ask any pharmacist, I'm sure he will be happy to give it to you, it is a wealth of information. Be sure to ask for the one that comes inside his bottle, they come in all new bottles, don't take the regular prescription printout, they are very vague. htp
I am also looking for information about the effects of Lamisil and came trough this post. I am planning to get pregnant at the end of July and I will finish Lamisil on the 26th of July. I saw your post and wanted to ask how your pregnancy went.
