Unhappy I need some light on Xenical!!

Hi, I'm thinking about starting on Xenical but I'm really worried about 2 things: One, its real efficacity, does it really work ? Xenical is expensive and I'm concerned about spending a large sum and then not getting any positive results.
Two, I'm most worried about what happens when you stop taking Xenical. With other dieting supplements you regain the weight you lost , sometimes more . I don't want to invest time, illusions, effort and money in something that, once I stop taking it, will bring back all the weight.
If you have taken Xenical and you can help me with some answers I will be very grateful.
Peace and love .
Cheers.

in regards to taking xenical... i had a family member who was prescribed it for moderate weight loss. she wasnt obese by any means but just wanted to loose 20lbs (she was at 180lbs , 5'4 tall). i was always under the assumption that xenical was for people who met the obese recquirements. either way she started taking it and it made her act like she was on speed or something of the sorts. always going a million miles a minute. she peed like every 30min too. after 3 days of taking it she also started discharging an orange like oil out of her rectum. the dr. told her that was NORMAL (???) for people on xenical. after 2 weeks she dropped almost 15lbs and was having chest pains. she still kept on with it until she lost the full 20lbs she was initially trying to loose. that was only a mere 3.5 weeks into taking it. when she stopped she still ate healthy and exercised on a daily basis but gained all the weight back plus some. and now she cant get it off. also she still experiences chest pains and is generally fatigued all the time now. she went to a cardiologist and that dr. said that taking xenical put a sever strain on her heart and now monitors her monthly bc of the chest pains she is still having. it has been almost a year since she stopped taking it. i would be careful of it because it doesnt appear to be worth it and if you or anyone in your blood family has a history of heart problems dont take it. i hate seeing my aunt go through this and i would not want any other unsuspecting person to be put through this hell. my aunt now says she wishes she had never taken it in the first place and stayed the weight she was at because at least then she didnt feel so bad physically with the chest pains and all. seriously take about it with your doctor before you jump into it.
