High Blood Pressure on Toprol

Question - when I started on Toprol 25MG I weighed 190 lbs and it helped my blood pressure get to a normal state. In the past couple of months, I've gone up to 205 lbs and my blood pressure has gone up as well. Do you feel this has to do with the weight gain? I am just looking for opinions. I have a doctor's appt. tomorrow about it.
