Yes! it is withdrawl from
effexor xr. It is complet hell coming off cold turkey I've tried it and it wasn't pretty, my blood presser hit the roof.I'm not tring to sare you but it's the truth. My advice to you, wait one more week if you can and if the symtoms don't clear up at all then I would go back on at least 37.5 mgs and work your way down from there. A doctor should give three or four free packs to withdrawl from. It's taking me a while, but I am coming down off it. I used to be on 75mgs and it tolk me three weeks to get to just 50mgs then another three weeks to 37.5mgs now i'm on 27.5. I know when my body is used to the dose when the withdrawl symtoms calm. I get symtoms like trouble breathing, sore flu like feeling, sweating, anger, crying fits, increaced anxiety+depession, nausea, lots of trips to the bathroom,a drop in body tempeture, and sleepiness. I also become easyly dehydrated so I need to drink lots of water. The symtoms fade after two to three weeks, then I have to start all over again, but it is much less painfull then going cold turkey. I found with me I could not just take the whole 37.5 all at once in the morning because I would end up with worse withdrawl in the late evening. I balnce the beads out(half of 37.5 is 18.5, take one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I also take vitamin B6 50mgs I find they help just a bit with the withdrawl. But most of all they help the lift a bad mood. If you don't eat alot of meat/take birth control pills or bleed heavy during your period you will feel some impovment within a week or two. Hope this help some.
