I am going to the dr. tommorrow to talk about getting on effexor XR, this is something that this dr had filled before for me, but I never took it, I have bad anxiety, heart racing, nervousness. Has anyone taken this, and has it helped. Please let me know, thanks!! I also have some depression to, any info on this would help!

i was on it for around a year,when i would take it,i had to chase my wife & children out b/c it was like being Dr jeckle/mr hyde,it did help me [gave me motivation] but also got me dizzy ,eyes went blurry,& when i couldnt afford it no more,i went cold turkey not knowing the impact it would have,well,i wouldnt move out of bed,couch for nothing & wanted to die,I felt like a loser to my kidz,that feeling might have lasted appx 9 mo.but then again,i still battle with depression,bi polar,[so i been told,but too afraid to go to a shrink].im sorry if i gave u mixed emotions,i tried paxil,zolof,wellbutrian,prozac,ELAVIL,[scumbag dr gave that to me too,for my slip disc] then i had another dr,& she gave me about a yr supply,that was why i couldnt get no more,didnt have the money.well,good luck anyway,maybe it was just me & maybe effexxor will work for you,it just gave me bad panic attacks & nasty mood,
