In the past I have been on Zoloft, Lexapro, Abilify, Risperdal and of course Effexor (150mg) The latest of course has been Effexor (150mg), ever since I switched from Lexapro to Effexor, I have been feeling terrible, I am very miserable, snappy at my family and rarely will even go outside of my house. I have an appointment in two days with my Physicatrist. I am having him take me off of Effexor. I have constant burny eyes and headache. Very antisocial. Xanax is the only thing that helps me with my anxiety (that at times is unbearable) Panic attacks 2 times a day where I feel like I am going to die. What other anti-depressant's are there out there that can help me? I am so depressed. Any advice will help me. Thank You.

Prozac, Paxil, Luvox, Celexa, Wellbutrin...I think there are more...why'd you switch from the Lexapro in the first place?

To be honest I do not even know why my Dr. took me off Lexapro and put me on Effexor. Lexapro wasn't helping with depression/anxiety either. I just followed doc's orders.
