Default Edema?

[?]

So this is just a shot in the dark, but for years and years I have had issues with intense water retension. I think it may be due to the fact that I was bulimic for about seven years, and now that built-in anxiety about food causes that reaction. Therefore, when I was on Lexapro, my weight was actually stable for the one year I took it; however, the side effects were ridiculous and I had to get off it. I gained 25 pounds, then lost most of it, but still deal with constant edema. Is this just food allergies? If so, why did my Lexapro fix that?

Not wanting to go back on it, just some feedback would be wonderful.

Thank You!
