[Tapering]

I have posted this in another catagory as well.

I am looking for some specific information. I recently went from 87.5mcg fentanyl patch (75 + 12.5)/48 hours. I decided I wanted to see want my real pain level was after taking this for quite some time (3+ years). I dropped the patch and went to 4 narco tabs every 6 hours. Is that really such a significant drop? I did feel some withdrawal effects and still am after about 2 weeks, but it is definitely getting easier. Will my body settle out? Finally slept for the first time all night last night, but it was not without the added benefit of ambien-cr.

I am a pain managment patient. I will (after leveling off-) taper this medication.


Is their a way to compare the difference in dosage strength?
