Default day 2 lexapro

Hello All
Its been interesting reading.
I started Lexapro yesterday, 1/2 tablet another 1/2 today.
All day i have felt horrible. I've been on the couch with a cold wash cloth and eating ice chips. I dont think this stuff is for me. I had a few panic attatcks this month and great aniexty over them ever since so I saw my GP on firday to discuss the issue. I came home with many samples of the Lexapro. I just want to sleep tonight...is it OK to take a Simply Sleep? Also do I still need to worry about withdrawal only after two days? Should I take a 1/4 tomorrow and maybe for the next day before stopping all together? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I don't think you are going to get withdrawal after 2 pills, but do yourself a BIG favour and talk to your doctor, if you look a few posts down you'll see my post on withdrawal after 3 weeks on lexapro. You shouldn't really have any problems after two days as it hasn't had the time to build up in your system. I was having the same problems as you with panic attacks, but after I learned a few key things on anxiety they didn't bother me as much. You might benefit from this drug or another anti-depressant, you just might need to adjust your dosage, which you should talk your doctor about.

There are other ways to work through anxiety like that, and I feel for ya, as I'm going through the same thing. The most important thing to remember about a panic attack is no body has ever died from one.

In my experience the pills aren't the way to go, It's highly unnatrual and they can really mess with your brain. But everyone reacts differently.

Good luck, and feel better.
