Default cold turkey off paxil, bad bad idea...

Can't believe im still alive after coming off that medication cold turkey. Not a smart move for me, because now i'm having headaches nearly everyday.. Anyone else completely come off of it cold turkey? Do I need to be back on it and wean off of it slowly? Or do I try a different medication. When I came off this medication I had an immediate relapse and nearly killed myself because of the relapse. Really scarry coming off this med,I was taking it for a about 7 months.Stopped taking it this past June, so It's been a really long time.I'm unable to think at my highest capababilty and everything seems to be off track mentally, I'm like a huge pessimistic/anti-social,isolated person all of a sudden, this is crazy.. I'm not anything like I used to be, but worse. I reccommend people don't do this, especially from my experience. Is there any other way to heal from such a disaster? Any input would be most appreciated.

Yes, go back on it and then wean off. I understand Paxil is not one of those antidepressants you can just quit, like Prozac.

If you can ask for a lower dose, or if you're on the lowest take one every other day for a month, then 1 every two days, etc.

Hi there
I have been off cold turkey going on 5 days now and it seem that i am not myself as well.... I am very dizzy, emotional, nausiated and over all just like having the flu. Myself like you would like to know if there is any thing i can do to make this easier as I am on a new anti depressant Zyban. I was wondering if this would make it go away quicker.... pls advise if anyone knows Thank you
