Default Celexa

I have a question for those who have taken antidepressants/celexa.

I'm currently taking Celexa. When I first started taking it within the first 2 weeks there was a drastic change in my personality. I finally felt like I had some energy again, I felt motivated, was able to sleep better, etc. I literally made a 180 degree turn for the better.

It continued to work great, but after being on it for a month I had forgotten to get it refilled and ended up going a couple of days without it before I got to see a doctor. I started to experience slight withdrawal symptoms (nowhere near as bad as with effexor though). They stopped once I started taking them again, but since I started taking them again (it's been over 2 months now) it's not effecting me anywhere near the way it did during the first month.

I do plan on talking with my doctor about this and have an appointment in just over a week, but I thought I'd see if anyone here had gone through something similar. I'm wondering if going off of them brought my seratonin levels down lower than before I started, and they're still struggling to bring them back up? If anyone has an idea why this would happen, please share
