Default Big abuse, 2 grams

Hi everybody.

One year ago i was abusing ritalin, taking 600mg, 30 pills, on a daily basis. I went to rehab. After that i passed a year without taking any drug at all. Now i have relapsed. I'm having 2 grams a day, 100 pills.

Could you give me any indications how should i taper to reduce the intake of methylphenidate without suffering a depression?
Do you know any method to lessen tolerance?
What maximum dose should i take in order not to have phisical harm?
Is there anybody with a similar experience?
Thanks in advance for your quick response.

Hi! I have 2 best friends who both went through major ritalin addiction. They both started using it for valid ADD, but began abusing for the weight loss properties. I could tell you HORROR stories of the things they did to get money for this addiction. And they were in a sorority, very beautiful, one got married had a child, one took a career path. Long story short, one of them finally went to a psychiatrist (not rehab) and he helped her taper down. She was determined. The other one went back and forth and never really sought propper help except when her FAMILY wanted her to. In other words, she never really found the point where she was ready. Well she is dead now. She did SOOO much of it , her heart failed. She had 3 children. (Her husband had already left her). She was 32. My other friend and I are still very close. She is clean and has 2 children and a step child, a husband and a career. Sometimes we talk about it, and she jokes she wishes she had some to lose her "baby weight". But I'm glad I have her back. She was on her way to dying as well. Either from the drug, or from the things she was doing while she was living that lifestyle. None of this is bull********************. If you have more questions, let me know. I can ask her if she remembers specifics about milligrams etc. I never asked her those types of things. Good luck to you!!

Thank you very much indeed, daryl512. If you could ask your friend, please, at what rate did she taper, that would be tremendously useful to me.
I´m really sorry about your other friend, in fact I´m concerned because I don't want to finish like her eventually.
Thank you in advance for your response to my question.
