Default Dexedrine

Dexedrine is a stimulant I remember when it was used for weightloss. But now it is used also for depression. But I have not seen it used as an injectable. Please explain to me is this now in liquid form or how does she break it down? Or is she mixing it with something? On the directions it says do not chew.

As a true friend I would work on the approch and ask her why she uses this drug. Tell her you are interested. She is shooting it into her Butt does she think that it could reduce the size of the Butt? Got me confused as I have worked in many areas of the medical field and you have peeked my interest.

From what i have observed, she simly puts it in a spoon with a small piece of cotton? and uses a lighter to cause it to boil so when she draws it up in the needle, the pinkish type color is gone and it is now clear. I did ask her why she did this, and her reply was because it lasted so much longer and was much more intense? she also stated that she prefers not to muscle it? assuming this meant her buttocks, and prefers her veins, but sometimes cant find one. I feel sad for her, it took me 3 yrs to be drug free, even suboxone which is what i was on to get me off oxycontin. So i understand the addiction scene well, but never used needles for anything thank gawd!

Wow, Patrick. that definitely doesn't sound good. I never heard of using speed as an intramuscular injection though, that is kinda weird. Usually it would be used intravenously. I wonder if she already blew her veins and has to IM it? Poor thing. I remember many years ago, I used to use cocaine IV. Thankfully I wasn't addicted to it, but my ex was. I got pregnant just when we started to use, so of course, I stopped and that saved me. But other than using a lighter, we used it exactly the same way, dissolved the drug in water on a spoon and used a piece of a cigarette filter (instead of cotton) and drew it up through the filter into the syringe.

It sure sounds like a bad scene though. I hope you can get her to stop. Can you get her to come in here?

Patrick .... if your friend has blown all of her veins to where she is having to shoot speed in her butt she has problems. She has some SERIOUS problems if she is shooting speed even if her veins are okay. Either way she is in a BAD place.

I would try my hardest to help her if she were my friend. I've grown up around and seen people shoot speed since the 1960s I'm sorry to say. I've never seen even one single person do that and live for a long time unless they stopped.

I can't tell you what to say to her. You know her. This is bad news buddy. BeavisMom is right. Perhaps if she would get on the forum and post .... or at least read this. I'll include you guys in my prayers. God bless.
