Hi all. Ive been using Benzoyl Peroxide (Panoxyl Aqaugel 2.5) for a few weeks now its its worked like a dream. I only use a tiny amount probably twice a week, that's it! however, ive noticed internet articles stating that benzoyl peroxide could be a cancer promotor. Is there any truth in this? as u can imagin that has scared me into thinking twice as to whether or not i should continue using this product. If any1 has any useful info they'd like to share on this subject, id really appreciate it!

Benzoyl peroxide could possibly be a carcinogen in that it can break into two OH radicals. But really, it degrades into water and oxygen gas upon exposure to heat or light. That's why 3% H2O2 always comes in a dark bottle.
