Default Anybody know about skelaxin ??
My pain specialist just perscribed me 800mg of skelaxin, it is a mucle relaxer but i never heard of it. In the past he perscribed me valuim or ativan, is this in the same family as they are ??

Different family, diazepam and lorazepam are in the benzodiazepine family, where as Skelexin (Metaxalone) is in the muscle relaxers.
