I am a 47 years old male with a yeast infection between my buttocks over a 5 week period. I have tried the following medications with no positive results: Clortrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream, Mentax (butenafine HCI) Cream, Ketoconazole and Mycostatin.

Any suggestions on what can be used next to cure this infection?

My hubby tends to get this very same thing and it doesn't help when he works due to the friction issue and the heat. After his chapped booty gets to a point he ends up with a yeast type iffection. The only way, I have seen him get rid of it is to got to the doctor and get Diaflutin. He takes a pill a day for five days.......
Now, if he catches it before it gets tooo bad he will down mega doses of Yogurt and use Monistat cream nightly...Sleep in the nude....Sometimes that works......

Beleieve it or not (LOL) I had a boston terrier that used to get a yeast infection on her tummy!
I would rubb female Monastat on her every night and she would clear up! Thank Goodness it is non-perscription
