If you don't mind me asking, why did you feel the need to stop your
Lexapro treatment?
In response to your question, the withdrawal process should come to an end fairly shortly (two-four weeks) since you are returning to your previous dose, which your brain was accustomed to.
But to completely withdraw from Lexapro, or any SSRI, more caution should be taken when weaning off, no matter how small the dose may seem. In your case, I would not have just abruptly stopped taking the 5 mg, but instead reduce it to 2.5 mg for several weeks and then possibly stop treatment.
In any case, I wish you the best of luck in returning to a better state of mind.
