Reumatoid arthritis is very painful and most otc drugs just won't cut the pain.My wife has in the last year developed reaumatoid arthritis and she tried everything otc and nothing worked. She does take MSM,Glucosamine,Calcium,Indomethacine(a prescription anti-inflamatory),Folic Acid,Magnesium,Sulfinpyrazone and halibut oil.Along with these she takes 60 mgs of
MS Contin (sustained release
morphine) twice a day.Even with the morphine her hands swell so bad she can't close them.It seems to wane alot, she'll go a weekend feeling pretty good and not even take the morphine to taking the morphine monday and still having pain. It's a tuff disease to control but exercise is vital for all arthritis patients........Dave
