I've read that trazodone may be used for cocaine withdr. Will it work for hydrocodone too?? Also, I know that both of these meds affect CNS. Are they CNS depressants or stimulants (traz & hydro)?? Day 3 of hydro withdr, getting better.

It's not a matter that trazodone helps with any actual w/d it's just that it helps most people sleep. Trazodone is an anti-depressant but it's also used for sleep. It's okay to take during detox if you need it. Just keep it at less than 100mg if you aren't used to it. Hope that helps. God bless.
