Time to get off

Train's in the station time to get off. Since my surgery in dec i was put on 4 perk's per day. Now im up to 10 or 12. It's time to stop i know the rountine. Wish me luck i start tonight. Brian

Ok so four day's into percocet withdrawls we have this big storm. A branch comes off one of the tree's in my back yard hit's my roof right over my bedroom and im in bed. Talk about doo doo all over yourself Robert i think i did. There here to do some more work ill talk later Brian.

First of all thankyou Linda Melinda Jean and Robert for thinking of me. I am back on the pill's because i had to live with my brother and his kids for a few day's. I did not want them to see me in a bad way because of my job. The insomnia no energy and mental battle they would read me like a book.They are 18 20 and 23 the oldest a girl is a cadet right now and will be a cop in less then a year. I am back in my house now and it feels good. Thank's for your concern. It's nice to have good frend's. Next week i am going to book two week's vac and do this again for the last time i hope. Brian . ps. Linda that was very nice of you to say that about me thankyou. I didnot replase i had to have anouther surgery on my back. I have never done suboxone to hard to get in canada. Besides im only on about 50 mg of perc's a day so i will use the thomas recipe. And yes i will put up a good fight.

Hi -I was worried about you and am so glad to see you on here . You say you are on 50 mg. of perc? Are you going to taper or just go for it. Whatever you decide I am right here for you. You are a very cool guy in your own unasuming way. I like that. You will beat this s*** and it is s*** . I am so glad you are still with us -Taper or c/t are just personal choices each with pros and cons I guess . Am so glad your going to go for it- Just so you know there are alot of people on this forum who really care for you -You must have a history here . Keep everyone posted so we don't worry .Linda

percocet always made me moody as hell, its basically the same drug as oxy just a smaller dose and it isnt time release like oxy is. also they give me alot of heartburn to. my son is up to six a day now and im really worried about him. i was wondering how long you have been taking them and did you ever abuse them?? my son is only 19 and workmans comp sent him to pain management for back strain. i do not judge anybodies pain but i would think he is a little bit young to be on such a high dose. his doctor had him on 30 miligrams of morphine at first!!! like i said before i just found out and all i could do is cry. because i know that there will be a time when he becomes addicted if he isnt already and he comes knocking on my door crying from the detox pains. im trying to get him to quit but like i said he is 19 now and lives on his own and married. what would you say to him for advice?? im not trying to bother you but i would like some advice from somebody who had been through it like i have.

Hi- This is Linda and we are doing pretty well not 100% but stronger than we were. I am glad you are starting on Friday .what were you on before and how long was your relapse? I am asking because I saw you were taking two weeks off to allow for w/d .Will it really take that long if your only taking 5 a day? Sure makes me stop and take notice when I read about the many relapses and how easily they happen . Thanks for coming back and talking about yours- I'm sure it will help alot of others. First Tommy yes your son is to young to be on that amount of perc's. But then i don't know what is wrong with his back. Mabey you could let him read some of the post's on Drugs.com and he will think about it and smarten up. Next to Linda. This all started 8 or 9 years ago when a tree fell on me. Go to the start of my thred and you will see the real story on me you will have to go back about two years. And now to Robert and Melinda i had to cancel my vac because my girlfrend's mother had a heart problem. She onley has 2 or3 days to live. I don't know what els to say for fear of sounding like a broken tape recorder. This is very difficult for me right now so the next time i communicate with you will be to tell you that i have quit taking percocet's.Brian. PS Linda if you wan't the real story on me go to getting off oxycontian and percocet by lilbri.

Brian,

I am sorry to hear of the bad news. I was just dropping in to check on you since tomorrow was the big day, but I can definitely understand life getting in the way. Like Melinda said don't wait until you are clean to tell us. We want to help and offer support. No one else knows how to detox like the bunch of us!

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Let me know if there's anything I can do or if you need a shoulder to lean on.
