Default Are these withdrawl symptoms?????

Hi, I am new to this forum but it seems like people are expieriencing the same symptoms as me. I know all about the brain zaps etc but I have been feeling extremely extremely fatigued lately. I have been on 10mg of Lexapro since March `04...since December of `04 I have cut down to 5mg and two weeks ago I cut that 5mg in half and plan to be on it for a month or two until completly stopping. I have had no real complaints except recently about two months ago I have been feeling so weak and tired. No matter how much sleep I get I just want to collapse. My head also has this strange feelings. Not so much zaps but its almost like a headache but it seems to do more with my eyes, its like its hard to focus and my eyes are straining also,it almost feels like a sinus problem but its not. the ringing in my ears is worse then ever too, I know thats a side-effect and I would assume it would have lessend but it louder then ever. Lastly, I feel lightheaded, like I have to move real slow when I walk, I can't make quick moves....its not dizziness though. I just feel so dead, I am totally out of it and stare a lot. My eyes feel better if I just stare. How strange is that. has anyone expiernced this? Its just very very frustrating because I am over the whole anxiety thing and now im miserable to everyone around me because I feel like ******************** and im tired.

I read your post with great interest and wonder if you are suffering from mild to moderate depression? Even if you don't feel you have a "Reason" to be depressed, your brain chemistry may be saying otherwise. I would rule this out before going any further. Are you quitting Lexapro with your doctors blessing or doing it on your own? Your initial anxiety for which you began taking the Lexapro may have been just a symptom of something deeper. Only you and your physician can figure this one out. Don't let these effects keep you from the advice of a professional. Best of luck to you, I hope this is helpful!
