Default temazepam

ok i have some pretty bad insomnia and i would typically get about 2-3 hours of sleep at night and then have to wake up for school which was severely detrimental to my academic performance. i tried a bunch of sleeping meds and nothing seemed to help until i got prescribed temazepam which actually lets me get a good night's sleep. now, ive been on 30-60mg per night (if one of my 30mg capsules doesnt put me to sleep then ill take another, yes yes its against the directions but hey i gotta sleep) but anyways ive been on them for a little over a month and i dont wanna become a benzo addict but i also want to be able to sleep. altho my main concern is, if my doc tapers me gradually will i be able to avoid the horrific benzo withdrawal? i just got out of a bad oxy addiction (i was using it daily for about a year, im quite proud that i quit, it wasnt TOO hard). Thnx for taking the time to read my ****, and please give me some responses.
