Default suboxone "supposidly" can only be filled 5 times..

Hey there people,
Well I had an exhaustive day, here's why.. I live in Montana but I assume the DEA is the DEA I called Shopko to refill my 5 suboxone as I do every two days, my doctor wrote me for 90 subs (for 1 month) @ roughly 3 a day well I don't know about you all but I can't really afford $495.00 bucks a pop that's almost as much as my friggin' rent sooo, I've always just bought as I go, but I just moved to a different town here in beautiful Montana 200 miles away from my doctor and my pharmacy, so once a month I travel to see my doc that rocks, anyway,I called to refill just five and since it's technically a class 4 narcotic you can only fill it five times in a row, even if I only filled 1 sub at a time so anyway I have 50 subs left on my script and I called to get 5 more and they said since I've filled 5 times and all they would have to call my doctor and it would be a couple of hours, that's fine and dandy except my doctors office is closed on wednesdays, and they have never done that before, and my pharmacist in the previous town never did that either, and I have been on sub for a year and 1/2 and I've always filled as I go, but after a little persuasion they said they could give me one for today, and the lady on the phone said it was free, so I was a little relieved except I take 3-4 a day , and then the lady at the pharmacy was so rude to me like I was just another crazy drug addict of course, I'm used to the stigma now and then the pharmacy lady oh "so nicely" said oh this 1 isn't free, we'll just include it in the price of the next script you pick up, what a b.... mean lady, has anyone else had this problem or do you think they were just messin with me?? I really would'nt doubt it, afterall they're a big pharmacy "Shopko" and it wouldn't be the first time they've messed with me but the point is that I have 50 subs left written to ME. They're mine I might just pull my script from them, they don't need my money anyway, Thanks for listening and hopefully my long-winded "note" will help someone.

Actually they were correct, you are only supposed to be allowed 5 refills on class III or IV narcotics in any 6 month period. Of course it would have been nice if someone had told you that when you first got the scrip, but this is the new law from the government. If you have Class II's you can't have any refills, I have to see my doc once a month, every month.

There might be exceptions since you are only getting partial refills that your other pharmacy was aware of, and followed that this one doesn't.

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~
