Lightbulb Suboxone Question

I was taking 100 mgs of either Percocet, Vicodin and Oxycontin, or a combo of two or three for about 2.5 months. I did Suboxone treatment for one month. I started at 16 mgs, went immediately to 12 mgs, then to 8 mgs, then to 4 mgs over the month period. I jumped off at 4 mgs a little over 5 days ago. I am feeling very little, if any w/d symptoms. Extreme fatigue, slight nausea, a headache here and there. It's nothing compared to what I've been through before (jumped off 100 mgs of Methadone cold turkey). Am I home free or what? Is five days enough time to say this is probably all I'm going to feel? I'm hoping it's not in like a lamb, and out like a lion! Anyone's input would be very helpful.

I quit Suboxone on my own, after reading the posts here. My Doctor out-and-out lied to me about Suboxone being addicting, and I believe him telling me he wants to treat me for a year is just so he can make money off me. I don't have the money for the treatment either. I've also suffered A LOT of side effects from Suboxone. However, it did help me. I am still thankful for it. I am also very thankful for all of you posting your experiences here. This is where the truth is.

Default sub for 100mg?

hey rxqueen, good job on getting off the pills. I haven't been on the sub, but I know it is addicting (there are opiates in it right?)
I believe getting off the sub, you have withdrawls for a little bit longer than the oxys and hydros you were taking.
Being off of them for 5 days is a big accomplishment for any of us with an addiction. you should be proud. I quit cold turkey from 120 - 180 mg of oxycodone daily 11 days ago. The first week I had no energy, went through all the bad symptoms of w/d but i would feel better everyday. It go ALOT easier for me after the 1 week mark. so keep your head up. Make sure you try to get some excercise in even if it's just a short walk. Sorry I didn't have much info about the sub...but keep us posted on your progress.

It is encouraging to hear the stories about quick recovery from withdrawals from opiates. I envy you folks. I've been clean for over 6 months. Literally, I was brought into the hollows of hell. But I was on every prescribed opiate known to man. In pills alone I was doing over 3,500 mg a day for a decade. Also booting 30 to 40cc's of Dilaudid and Hydromorphine. Thank God I have made it through the fire and I am cleansed by the flames. I pray you continue strong in your recovery. Finally, I am living again and can say that I am happy. God Bless.

Smile Today is day 7

It is now day 7. I still feel very little, if any, w/d symptoms. I am totally confused. I am petrified that some hardcore w/d is going to slam me right when I least expect it. Yes, Suboxone is an opiate to answer your question. The only thing I am feeling is fatigue, and today, some sweats. Weird. Thanks for your input. I just gave birth to my first baby in December. I am determined to get straight this time so I can give her a good life. When I was using I would look at her and feel so guilty, and ashamed of myself.

vduda, I read your post about leaving the forum a few days ago. I haven't been here for that long, but I am SO glad you decided to stay. Your posts are so informative, and touching too. Why would you EVER let one or two idiots drive you away? There is one (you know what) in every crowd. This forum is a big crowd, so the ratio is probably higher Some people think they know everything. I'm so glad you decided to stay. Don't let fools like that defeat your purpose. We need you to help us stay strong. If you can do it, so can I.
