I took an 8mg suboxone tablet approximately 18 hours ago to help with heroin withdrawal. It was the only time I have used the drug. I do not have any more suboxone, but do have some methadone to hold me over until I can get treatment. I was wondering how long I should wait to take the methadone after the suboxone to avoid withdrawals. Thanks in advance for any help!

I would wait until you actually start to feel the withdrawls.Then you can take the methadone.Good luck and I hope your treatment goes well.....Dave
