Default Suboxone & Me - Perfect Together

Hey all, I finally did it! I found a psychiatrist to put me on Suboxone treatment. I was gonna go to an assembly line doctor (NEXT?!) for treatment but was not comfortable with that approach. The cost was the same either way. I had to pay $350 for the first visit but my insurance will cover it. When I got to his office, I was in withdrawal about 18 hours and took 2 mg. suboxone sublingually and felt better in about 15 minutes. Then he gave me 2 more mgs. I felt really good, amazing really. I felt fuzzy and sleepy but my body was alive. I actually had energy instead of the usual "moving through water" feeling that Vics give you. It's now been 56 hours since my last Vic and while I should be flat out sick, I am just fine except for a bit of a headache. I'm still trying to find my correct dose.

Just to sum up, I've been eating Vicoprofen steadily for 5 years and was taking about 8 - 10 (more if available) over the last year. I've been addicted to pain killers most of my life (about 35 years).

If the Suboxone works for me, it'll work for you. I would go into withdrawal just stepping down 2 pills a day. And you know the best part, I don't have a craving for the Vics. In-friggin-credible.

Now $350 sounds like a lot of money, it's a mere pittance just to take that weight off my shoulders. It's very tiring when your every waking moment is consumed with painkiller usage.

Good luck to all!

PQ
