One of my frineds is wanting to see about Suboxone, What does it do for you and has anyone here ever taking it before. Does it make you sick, sleepy?? any of that..

Suboxone is two drugs really,buprenorphene and a little bit of naloxone.Buprenorphene is an exellent drug for drug addicts.It takes away the withdrawls and cravings without giving the patient a high.So the patient feels "normal".Once they are stable then they can go about getting their life back together.The doctor and patient decide when to start a sloooow detox.The naloxone in Suboxone is put there so that if someone tries to inject it they will go into instant withdrawls.Naloxone when taken by mouth doesn't work so that's why it's put in there.There is another pill called subutex and it's just strait buprenorphene.Good luck and I highly recommend trying this drug it's having a huge success.....Dave

I have been a heroin atticked for 2 years now and recently got out of detox. I have started using again but would really like to get on to suboxin myself. I used it for the first time a few days ago, my friend is on it and gave me 5 mg of it. It made me feel good. I wasnt sick and i was almost high, it was like the feeling after you do dope. ITs not a strong high but it made me feel very comfterable. Anyways last night i took 20 mg of methadone so i wasnt sick(my dad is on it) and i want to know if i would be ok mixing these drugs together? I heard that if you mix Methadone and suboxin you go into withdrawls...does anyone know?

I just quit taking Suboxone...can anyone here tell me how long after quiting Suboxone you take Norco and feel the Euphoria feeling?
