Question Suboxne Taper. Robert?

Hey Robert it's me here how are you? I have been at 8mgs for one week and would like to start my taper. I am due right now for the next 4mg but I was thinking of taking 2mgs for a total of 6 per day Mg that is. I have 65/8mg pills left which I believe is plenty to do a slow taper.

I am feeling a lot stronger mentally, and I have been on the sub for 6 weeks now. Could you please help me do this properly, I want to be another success story for myself. Thanks so much.

p.s. I was at 12 and went to 8 no problem. Maybe I could just stay at 4 or is that to much of a jump?
Love ,
Jill

Hi Jill ... proud of you girl.. You are finally doing this exactly as suggested. Don't get in too much of a hurry now. You don't want to repeat a 4mg drop again as it represents too big of a % of your total dose. 65 pills will be more than enough to get you through this.

Go ahead and drop to 6mg. You can take 4mg in the morning and 2mg in the late afternoon. That is perfect. If you start today you will stay at 6mg through Monday. Then if all is well you will reduce again on Tuesday. We will talk again before Tuesday obviously to see how you are feeling.

Remember you can always take a little sliver if you need it. But I think you will be just fine. Keep doing this just like your doing. Good luck and God bless.

Thanks buddy. You are so quick I thought i wouldn't hear from you so soon. Thank you very much and I won't jump again and of course we'll be in touch.

Hey girl (Melinda) your cute, I was going to shout out before but i figured I catch up on the e mail. Glad to hear from you and I'm glad I am finally doing this sub thing right.

Thank you both very much and God Bless you too.

Just checking on you. Hoping all is still going well with your taper. Let me know how it's going when you read this. Wanting to make sure you aren't having any problems. I've been away from the forum this weekend. Been on a church retreat this weekend that was amazing! But anyway let me know how you are doing. God bless.
