I've been on sub only 10 days to detox off hydro. I only have enough for 2 or 3 more days. Today I dropped from 6mg to 4mg. Was taking about 20 vikes a day. Does anyone know what kind of wds, if any, I should expect from this?

You really need more subs to do this right. You could go cold turkey, but ONLY as a last resort. Can you get more subs ? You should ask Robert to help you with a customized taper plan. I am sure he will see your post and reply soon. How do you feel on 4mg ? Are you stable ?

I have no idea what it would be like to run out of subs at that high a dose. Maybe since he was only doing hydros, he will do fine with only mild to moderate WD's. I hope this is the case and it works out for him. I think if he is determined enough and gets exercise, nutrition, and some family member to support him during WD,s , he will make it. He should also ask for Gods help with this, never underestimate the power of prayer ! Good Luck, Leebomb !

Thanks intelmetal! Robert's helped me a great deal already. Unfortunately I can't get any more subs. Today I felt fine on 4mgs... couldn't even feel the dose drop. I have 5 2mgs left, so I think I'm just gonna do 2mgs again tomorrow, then 1 or less as needed till they're gone. I know its not ideal, but I have to make the best with what I have. I was just curious if i'l have withdrawals because I used them for such a short time, and if so how bad might they be? Robert already explained to me that its different for everyone, so I was hoping someone had been through something like this could share their experience with me. I thought it would be comforting to hear somebody else's experience. Also, if I do have wds, are they from the sub or the vicodin?

Hi -This is linda and I pondered that question as well when I was getting off of subs and H,as I did my own really fast taper before I found Robert. I think you are w/d from an opiate. Vicodin and subs are both opiates and your w/d from Vicodin was halted as it was replaced by the Subs. I'm sorry I don't know how the w/d will be but I'm sure you know about the Thomas Recipe, I know it has helped alot of people . Hang in there. Linda
