Default Ritalin for treatment of MS fatigue.

I was recently prescribed Ritalin for the treatment of MS fatigue. 5mg tablet taken twice/day. I am also taking Provigil for the same purpose and have been for the past year. I added the Ritalin last W or TH and I still feel the uncontrollable urge to fall asleep throught the day. Does the Ritalin take time to become effective? Jennifer

Hi jbaures
I took Ritalin for awhile and it only took about 20 minutes for it to kick in.
So you should have noticed something after that.
But it has been a few years since I took it so I don't remember what mg it was.

Good luck, Melinda
