Default Risks associated with Darvocet Addiction

Been taking Darvocet every day for the past 3-4 yrs or so. I've stopped for periods of up to 3 weeks, and really not had any problems doing so. Some widthrawl symptoms.. but I can still function.

I'm afraid of what I can be doing to my body long term though. I hear people talk about liver damage, but how serious can that become? Does anyone have any resources on long term pain killer risks?

Thanks in advance!

You have to get your liver enzymes checked at least once a year to make sure the tylenol isn't damaging your live. There are people dieing from this so take it seriously. Also Darvocet (propoxyphene) is a very poor pain killer and you could get just as much releif from advil, you should try and stay away from it.Also don't drink to much or take benzo's when taking prop[oxyphene as it can cause respitory failure.....Dave
