Default psoriasis

What is a good treatment for psoriasis? I have it almost all over my body with the exception of the groin area. My doctor put me on an ointment for it but it doesn't work very well. I just want to find a good way to treat this so it will go away.

There are lots of treatments. I don't know for sure how bad your psoriasis actually is? I know you've said it's covering most of your body but is it really bad everywhere?

In a worst case scenario you can try methotrexate. It's also used for Rheumatoid Arthritis and even used for chemo. Methotrexate is a serious medication so your dr may not be in favor of it's unless absolutely necessary. Hang in there. God bless.

My daughter has psoriasis since age 5, we also tried many Dr.s and some very expensive medicines, none worked and some made her scream in pain. At 7, I took her to a homeopathic Dr., it took 4-5 months and trying several remedies (a remedy is a tiny "pill" you put under your tongue and gives you a very small amount of something your body is missing and needs...for lack of a better explanation).
The Homeopath will ask you for very detailed information about some strange things/habits and will then try to figure out best remedy.
It was when the homeopath found out my husband only eats unripened fruit she knew to give her a certain remedy that has now been working for my daughter for 9 years. The initial investment was $300-$400, but since we found the right remedy for her it's about $15 a year, I buy the remedy online and she now only needs to take it once a week. If I ever notice a flare up on her i ask if she's been forgetting her remedy and she has. She'll take it for every day for a week and it's under control, then back to once a week.
Good luck
