They can be mixed, they are almost the same thing, no it won't hurt him, probably just make him sleepy at most. If he never takes pills, the Lortab should have worked.

Well I guess they worked for him a little but said it wore off fast and my his stomach hurt, he took them about a month or two ago for a root canal but I guess it did the same thing to him them,

Why would the doc switch my meds like that? I am just curious I didnt even say anything are the percocets stronger? When I went to see him I didnt even look at my script I just took it to the pharmacy I thought it would be the same meds as always, He has been giving me the same meds Lortabs every SInce he started seeing me with the kidney stones, maybe it is where I am having an operation Monday who Knows
Are Percs stronger? I have never really taking them befor

Yes Percs are stronger then lortabs, maybe the docs bringing down the dose so when you have that operation you'll get percocet again and it'll be more effective for post op pain. Both pills last only four hours, maybe if he took it with food it wouldn't bother his stomach.

Altering different meds, so you don't use either for any prolonged length of time, has also been show to lower the chances of addiction and withdrawal effects. Since you have a treatable condition, he might be concerned about having you take any one thing for too long, when surgery can fix your condition, and once your healing is complete you won't need any pain meds.

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~
