this have been my second attempt to go off this nasty pill. I start 3 days tomorrow clean. Can somone tell me how long it stays in your body for it leaves. I know mentally it stayed with me for weeks. greatly appreciated

You came to the right place. Go to my thread (the Perc and Ambien W/D) read all of the posts. You can see up front what I had to go through.
This group saved my life and I would be honored to help you get through this awful addiction. At times you want to just give up becasue it's easier just to pop the pills. If you haven't been clean in a while, there's nothing like finding yourself again and not letting them rule your life. For me days 4-6 were the absolute worst days of my life.

I came to this group for help and never realized how easy it is to talk to these people. No embarassment, everyone here has been through something.

Hi Misty,

You are doing great; hang in there! You might have a couple more bad days, but after that you'll start to feel much better. Yes, it does stay in your mind a long time. If you have the chance to go to any NA meetings, you can get a lot of support there for the mental trials (if you're feeling well enough to go out).

If you give us more details such as how many mgs you took each day and how long you have on them.We can tell you approx how long your w/d will last and give you some tips to make this a little easier.Good luck! MM
