Default Paxil or Zoloft or other???

Im taking Zoloft right now.I am on the supposed max dose of 200 mg's.I started my 9th week of Zoloft 200 mg's Wednesday.I still really have not felt a noticable feeling that the Zoloft is kicking in yet.Has anyone else taken Zoloft and can share there expierence with me.Also if someone has used a different SSRI that worked great for them???My main concern is I have Social and General anxiety.

My husband has found that Paxil worked best for him for those ailments. I took Zoloft for several years and I did have good results, but they can take you safely up to 250mgs. You should feel the max affects in 8 weeks, so if you aren't having any results yet, I would think it is time to try something else.

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~

I asked my Doctor the question that I didn't seem to have clear or moderate benefit yet from the Zoloft. He told me that Zoloft takes longer to kick in then Prozac.I am in the middle of my 9th week so hopefully in days I will start feeling the benefits of Zoloft.I do feel like myself again but still a bit nervous.I didn't feel Prozac would be good for me because I am really not depressed.I just have Social and General Anxiety in which my Doctor thinks is a link to depression.I never gave Paxil a chance to work.I know it is more sedating then Zoloft from what I have read. Its hard to think, whats the best antidepressant for anxiety???
