Tamm:

hey there. I wanted to comment on something you wrote a few posts back. You were talking about wanting to take a road trip to get away from your husband because he's so negative about everything. Then when you were talking about how you didn't appreciate his behavior and you felt irritated by it, you said you wish you didn't "have" to feel this way. I always make a comment to people when they say things like that because it isn't healthy. Don't take this the wrong way, I ofcourse mean no offense, just remember that you are in the situation you're in with your husband because "you" are choosing it. Nobody "makes" us do or feel anything, we need to "own" our feelings. People are always saying things like "such and such "made" me cry, or he or she "makes" me angry. These are just ways of not owning our behavior. People who are in bad relationships and continue to stay have only themselves to be upset with. Sorry if I'm ranting, I just really like to point these things out to people. Hope your having a great day with the pups! mike.

ps- again, please understand I mean no offense, I am lookin out for ya.

Hi Unclenasty,No offense taken,I know I don't have to be in this relationship,I wish I would of left when my son was much younger,so he dosen't have to deal w/the pain,I came from a dysfunctional family unfortunately,so maybe I just can deal with the situation better,I'll tell you what !!A person that was raised in a good loving, healthy family,I don't think would be able to handle it,they would probably go nuts, which I know his 1st wife did,When I met him I drank ,took pills and now the more clean I get the fog is lifting and I can think more clearly,I'm gonna do 1 thing at a time and leaving him is on the list!!Our 4 yr old is just so crazy abt his daddy,I just really need to think it through ,how I'm going to handle the situation...wish me luck ,Love ya Tamm

Hey Ya'll ~ How is every little thing?? Well, after four hours at the doctors today we made it home. It ended up that my girl was in more respiratory distress than we realized and so she needed to do two treatments and she still wasn't getting enough oxygen to her blood so it was a looooooooooooong morning/afternoon. She is feeling better at this point though and she is started on some steroids so she will come around pretty quickly now. But OMG has she missed so much school. We are going to have to get her a tudor...UGH!!

Okay enough out of me....

I hope everyone is well and Congrats so much Kai your rockin' hard core!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hugs,
Syd

Hi,is anyone up ,I know it is late ,but guess what it is snowing right now and its beautiful, especially if you haven't seen snow for a long time,My lil guy was up waiting for it to snow ,so we went outside (my hubbie is in bed sound asleep)got all bundled up first, momma dog and our prego cat also joined us out there they were having fun, laying in the snow,So anyways ,I went and found a box of clear x-mas lights and put them up on my 2 yr old weeping willow ,its rightin the middle of the yard,Heck I feel like putting all my x-mas lites on ,but people might think i'm crazy, right?? anyways I feel like i've been talking to my self today,I am glad everyone is buzy or resting,Hope everyone keeps up the good work!!!You know by summertime we should be in great shape,if we just stick to our plans....I know we won;t regret it,lifes to short, time to just enjoy it,Later Tamm

tom316:

hey there. I was wondering if I could get your opinion on methadone. I am considering going on it, hopefully for a short amount of time, just to use it as a taper/detox med rather than a maintenence one. I have heard so many negative things about it and I am a bit apprehensive as a result. I have also heard, though, that if one is on it for a shorter amount of time that it isn't all that difficult to stop. I am using dilaudid right now, crushing them up and shooting them. I am using about 20 4mg pills a day. What do you think about my using methadone for say, 1 to 3 months? What do you think about methadone in general? How does it make you feel? Does it keep you satisfied enough that you don't have a lot of cravings? How do you feel physically all around while on it? Any answers to my questions and other info or opinions you have would be much appreciated! Thanks dog! mike.

nymommy: Just wondering how the sleep thing is going? I haven't had a chance to post much lately as work has been horrific. You have been doing so great with the c/t from the sub!

LISA GIRL: Hope you Mom is doing well. You've really been through the meat-grinder lately and it's so good to read that you're handling it without the drugs.

lyds: What's your day-count? Stay strong girl!

baby steps: I can still hear you. The difference between our counts is razor-thin.

unclenasty: You're a German Shepherd fan as well? We're accumulating quite a group here. I've owned, trained and competed with them for better than 30 years now. What a great breed. They are so willing to please their handler. Very easy to train and the working lines that I train are tough as nails in the personal defense.

hatelove: It's weird how the system will censor some words and not others. It won't let anyone post "b*i*t*c*h", as in a female dog, or the words h*o*t*e*l or c*a*s*i*n*o. Who knows how many others?

BTW, Four weeks tomorrow! Yeah me!

I sure hope I never forget how difficult it has been this time. Much harder than any other time I've gone through this mess. I am finally getting past the chills which have consumed me for the last 28 days. Those were awefull!

Still quite a few sleep problems, mostly getting to sleep. Once I'm asleep I sleep pretty well for 5 to 6 hours and then it's over. Isn't it strange how we start listening to that voice,............ even though we know better, the one who says anything and everything to get us to restart down that destructive path?

I don't envy any of you who are dealing with the snow. Pretty to look at but it sucks to have to drive in it.

God Bless all of you. Draw near to Him and He'll draw near to you.
