in case anyone is wondering where the hell I went...I went back to the clinic and I'm fine. I take 6 mgs of Suboxone a day and it is working fine. I'm working alot and I am debating quitting smoking and I'm getting healthier. I will begin to taper after I get married this summer apparently. Good luck to everyone struggling.

I just checked there are 4 girls and 3 boys.Hope everyone is doing well on the sub,I'm at 16mg per day but have been cutting out 4mgs the past few days,Im really scared abt.this sub ****,I know its gonna be worse than getting off the methadone , or any other drug,man these doctors are something else...I bet most of us could be better drs.than most of them!!!Im afraid to start tapering like my doc told me,she wants to take me off of 16mgs a day to 8 mgs a day starting in feb.thats why im taking 4mg less now so it won't be so bad ,hope I'm right.maybe I can convince her to let me taper slower,just so stressed abt.it all.She seems like she knows what shes doing ,but dont they all!!she said she went out west somewhere to take this LONG 8hr.course,wow..maybe we'll figure something out by my next appt.at the end of this month,thanks for listening and caring any advice would be appreciated....love and prayers,Tamm

Off and on, all day there has been a cancer on this site called "Soul Child aka Fighting" I'm not going to go into the details but if you go into all his new topics/posted comments you'll see what I mean. Weird.

Anyway, back to sanity and my awesome friends!!!

IT SNOWED HERE IN VIRGINIA FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!! Do ya hear that Lisa Girl?? I got to see the white stuff!!! Now that's enough... it can go away cause it's already a mess!! Yuck! And pretty cold outside. How was your day girl? I hope you had a rested one. Are you still getting slammed with the snow? I know CO. is known for snow and everything but you guys really got hit bad this year. How's the homestead missy? Everything ok? As you know you will stay in my prayers!!! Ok, Ok, Ok Yes I have a terrible problem with the lead foot! This area will do it to ya... trust me. Very very aggravating! No offense NY but all the elderly NYrs and NJ folk get on this interstate during rush hour and do 50 miles an hour in all 3 lanes causing total frustration... and I won't totally blame just those 2 states they are just a majority as this interstate runs from Maine to Florida so let's just say it stays pretty busy and our area has millions of residents combined so when that road opens up.... Uh huh... I'm outta here... but usually never do more than 80 and usually 75... I swear it was my daughters car. [:I] Anyway, thanks Girl for your thoughts and adding a bit of humor to the whole horror story.

I notified the admins for this site about SOUL/FIGHTING if he is really in crisis they are the only ones that will have any chance of figuring out who he really is or where he really is. I told them about the RIP thread and the suicide thread that he started as well as everything else that has occured. I also let them know exactly how each thread progressed and why we are very suspicious about his "name" as well as his reasons for being here.

I will leave it to them at this point that is all we can do!!

Oh Hate Love I am so so sorry you are going through such pain!!! Before my hysterectomy I used to get violent Migraines so I so know what you're going through and I also know you are going to school which is so hard on the brain!!! Please try and get as much dark room rest as possible. If your meds aren't even working I'm afraid it's probably far past pain med help... please do as little as possible. I willpray for you!!!

Also this guy is terribly supspect and all the different names and freaky situations ie Sexual therapist, wacky neighbor pregnant friend w/benefits, nasal drip etc... the list just goes on with them... I know you're a peacekeeper so I don't blame you and never would... I was just sad that this creep took advantage of your sweet support.

Anyway... please get some rest and see your doctor tomorrow if these headaches don't get better... I am worried about you! Love you Missy!!!

TAM:my doggie is the smartest, cutest, sweetest, most loveable american pit bull terrier that ever lived. [^] but i'm not biased or anything...she really is a good little dog though. last night i was sleeping and must have made some noise in my sleep, woke myself up, and she didn't just get up to look at me she LEAPED up over me from a dead sleep and started licking my face she was so worried. it was totally cute.

My boyfriend is addicted to painkillers. He finally opened up to me and admitted his addiction a couple nights ago. I want/need to help him but i am sooo lost. I know nothing of this addiction and want to learn as much as possible. The biggest dilemma i am facing right now is that my boyf just left to live aboard a cruse ship for the next few months. (he is a crew member) I can only support him via telephone. I also want to know more about this suboxone (i think that is what its called) that has been mentioned in various postings. Any advice or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thank you, God bless

Hi,Bethany, sorry abt. your boyfriend,do you know what type of drug he is on and how much he takes? How long has he had this addiction? You said he is on a cruiseship for the next few months,does he have access to his drug of choice or did he go on the ship and plans to go cold turkey? If you need to learn more abt. the addictions read alot of the past posts on here,It will help you alot ,everyone on here is very helpful and supportive and I know you will get lots of the support you need,Take care will keep you and him in my prayers,,,also the more info you can get the better you can understand and help him.Tamm

I can't thank everyone enough for this forum. It has helped me a lot and Im just reading and catching up on everybody. DOC vicodin, up to 20-25 a day of 750. Weaned down to about 6 (because my refill was out and i didnt feel like scheming to get more - plus I probably couldnt) I'm 48 hours into and I'm hanging in there. I will write more later when I obviously won't be sleeping. I am going to coach my chuch basketball team tonight!! I'm proud of myself for that.

Question for everyone.. I haven't noticed that anyone has said anything about an odor from the wd. I smell something (yes, i showered today) : ). It smells like toxins exiting my body.. Just wandering. Thanks again!! Bobby

Welcome Bobby! I know this is going to be tough but you can do it! We are here for you and proud of you!! Yes, the smell!!! I did have it... it was a bitter acidy smell that came from my skin and I could even taste it... It was nasty but I do believe it was the toxins exiting my body as it happened both times I went through it. I guess it must be normal now that I'm not the only one!! Thanks for confirming that for me too!!!

If you are in day 2 and going to basketball practice... you are doing excellent!!! My worst days were 1, 2 3 and 5... of course I still suffer low energy and motivation but it pales in copmparison to running out of my refills and wondering how I could scheme to get them to fill it sooner. I always felt like a beggar and a loser.

Anyway please at least stay in touch enough to shout out and let us know how you are day by day if you can.

i still have my stupid migraine! it moved over to the left side of my head. i can't imagine how bad it would be if i wasn't back on the percocet. i don't know how i will ever quit completely if this keeps up. the pain is just incredible. enough whining. anyway, i don't believe it! that crazy guy is back on and has like five threads going and ranting and raving like he is one beer short of a twelve pack! i am afraid this whole forum will get canceled. i don't think he is really crazy i just think he is taking loads of drugs. i have seen people high on crack cocaine up for four or five days who act like that. maybe that is his problem? perhaps he just needs to go to sleep.[:0]
