ok here i am to give it another shot. i know everyone always just says the chart. but seriously. last two times i tried to get started on subs i went thru precip w/ds. i need some reassurance here. someone please tell me if i wait long enough i wont have those. i dont think i can avoid it. no one else here does as much drugs as i do. is it inevitable? i shoot up speedballs like 15 times a day i need help

I will guarantee you that if you will do as I ask you to do you won't go into precipitated w/d.

I won't go into my drug using history here as I would rather stay in the solution. Just suffice it to say that we aren't having a contest about who's used the most drugs here. But trust me I'm a record holder right there with you my friend and I know how to do this.

I remember you guys! I'm glad you're both back. Hey man ... remember that you don't lose at getting clean until you stop trying. I will stick this out with you.

So do you have a suboxone supply now? How many? Is your supply of suboxone sufficient to do this? Do you have a dr to get them from? Obviously you've probably used today so let's plan on getting started when you're ready. You will need to do some time with nothing so you're both in serious w/d to make sure you don't get sick again.

The main thing is you've got to wait until WE decide you're ready to be inducted. If you do it before it's time you know what happens. Please answer my questions and then plan on not using as of when you get up in the morning if you've got the subs now. Let me know. God bless.

ive got about half a bottle but i dont want to count it. i just really want to assume itll be enough to make it through. basically, i know its enough for now, but im gonna have to figure out how to get mor once im normal again. the dr thing is ok i know one. just, dont got any money. and it has to be that way for now. if i get money, we all know. so ive got 13 dollars left. im gonna spend it on enough cigs to get thru this. once im stabile i can get more subs. yeah. first goal, dont get more dope tomorrow

NO !!! I know it will help you tomorrow in w/d but it will mask the symptoms and we won't be able to tell accurately if you guys are ready to start the subs. Don't take anything! Spend the $13 on the cigarettes, forget the xanax. You need to be without any drugs at all going into this. Prepare yourselves, it won't be fun until I get you stabilized. I'm proud of you guys for toughing this out. Melinda and I were talking about you all a little while ago hoping you would stick it out.

You've been through the precip w/d before and I know you realize it's SOOOO much worse than where you are right now. Believe me the longer that you wait, the worse you feel, the more effective the induction will be. You won't be enjoying the next day, but honestly, unless I'm totally wrong, I'm hoping you can hold out till morning. I know you'll both be ready by then and I can get you going right on the subs. That sounds like eternity but remember that you only have to do this ONE TIME if you do it properly. It's worth it to hang tough no matter how crummy you feel! IT'S POSSIBLE that you could be ready late tonight but don't rush it. What time zone are you in by the way?

Have you printed up that COWS worksheet yet? You need to keep track of your symptoms on that worksheet. Remember that you really need to be hard on yourself at this point. If you say you're a 26 score but you're really only a 14 you'll just be cheating yourself and will end up just like before. The idea here is for you to get so sick before you do the induction that you're swearing you're going to die if you don't get something to make you feel better. You should be so sick you're about ready to sell your soul to feel better. I don't mean to be cute, I just want so badly for you guys to be winners this time and be done with this forever. I'm praying for you both. God bless.

Cool. I'm in Seattle right now so we're on the same time. That makes it easier to do the induction together so we don't have three hours difference or something like that.

I've known about the speedball thing since about 1970 dude. It sends a shiver down my back just to think about it. You're right ... the blow will make this take longer before doing the induction. Just have some patience and we'll get through this together.

We are going to make this work for you guys this time. Just trust me, that's all I know to say. But in the end you will both be successful if you stick it out with me I promise. God bless.

I'm glad to hear that. I want you guys to be successful this time. You don't want the precip w/d again.

Want you to remember one thing that I didn't even think about mentioning as it hasn't come up in our conversations before. You really want to watch drinking alcohol with suboxone. Shouldn't do it, I'm serious. Don't be doing any tequila shots or anything like that. If you've had a couple beers that's one thing but lay off the liquor while doing this. I am very serious about that. I'm trusting that you aren't pouring down the drinks. Am I correct in assuming you've just had a couple drinks? I don't want to hurt you guys.

I am going to have to trust your judgement here about your scoring for the most part as I'm not there to observe you guys. You know how bad the precip w/d are so I know that you couldn't possibly want that to happen to you all again. I want you to hold off as long as you both can possibly do it.

When we start the induction it's going to be easiest for you two if you start at the same time. That will likely mean that one of you will be feeling a little worse than the other one. But it will work out best for you guys if you're on the same time schedules. I know you can see my point here, you don't want to have both of your lives consumed with taking your individual doses at all different times throughout the day. So when you start let's try to both start at the exact same time.

I am leaving in about ten minutes to go grab a bite of dinner. But I won't be gone over an hour ... maybe hour and a half. So here is what you do. When you decide that you're really at or ABOVE 26 then go ahead and each of you take 4mg. That will not likely be your final dose but I want you to do this slowly (which is the right way) so we can make sure you're both ending up on the lowest effective dose possible. I want you to stabilize but at the lowest dose possible.

After you take 4mg wait for an hour. See if you can tell an improvement in how you feel. It should make you feel better some at least. If it's not a noticeable difference take another 4mg after you wait the one hour. Then wait another hour and see how you feel then.

Get back with me during this time and I will check on you as soon as I come back in from dinner. I will be back online at least shortly after you've taken the second dose which I fully expect that you'll need coming off heroin. I mean we need to be realistic here, you're not coming off a ten pill a day hydrocodone habit. We're talking a bunch of heroin. So you will likely have taken the second 4mg dose by the time I get back. Like I said I will check on you as soon as I get back. Just make sure you are both at 26 or ABOVE when you take that first dose.

Don't mess yourself up again like before. You've got to be the judge here and don't cut yourself too much slack on the scoring. Let's make it work this time. I will talk to you guys in a couple hours. Good luck and God bless.
