Hi,

I have just registered. I came here through a search engine for N+ addiction. I currently take 24-30 tablets a day, along with 8 panadiene tablets.

I'm not sure how to stop. I don't want to go cold turkey, but not sure how to gradually step down from this level.

Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself.

From what I have read I am not alone in my addiction, which makes me feel less isolated.

Anyway thanks for reading.

you just need to ween yourself off of them. try to decrease your dose by 25% a week.
example; (if your taking 24-30 tablets a day)
week 1: 24-30/day
week 2: 18-22.5/day
week 3: 13.5-17.5/day
week 4: 10.25-13.25/day
week 5: 7.5-10/day
week 6: 5.5-7.5/day
week 7: 4.25-5.5/day
week 8: 3.25-4.25/day
week 9: 2.5-3.25/day
week 10: 1.75-2.5/day
week 11: 1.25-1.75/day
week 12: 1-1.25/day

you can also do this by every 3 days or a higher percent. go to NA meetings too. they will help you psychologically. ask anything you want.

Welcome here Nightfall. I think you've come to the right place. There's no judgment here. It's all about advice, friendliness, and support. Like I said, "Welcome Aboard."

Welcome, Nightfall! As Mike said, you certainly came to the right place. These people literally saved me from oblivion. They're honest, caring, and most shoot straight from the hip with a no BS answer to just about any question you can ask. There's no shame here, no judgement, no pity, just caring people who have "been there, got the t-shirt".

I wish you nothing but success in your withdrawl and I am living proof it can be done without "dying"...lol as I seriously thought I was ... and Mike, Sub, Dave, Katie, and oh so many more helped me through the worst and are STILL helping me. Stay in touch and write as often as you need to. Someone will always be there. Love & light
