Smile need some suggestions

My wifes has these muscle jerks that are totally random and come out of no where usually when she lies down and relaxes her body but sometime it happens when she is awake and moving around. I guess what I'm wounding is does any one know what might be causing this, meds or some other condition.

If she's taking opiates then she's likely experiencing myoclonic jerks or spasms. They are harmless and are not a sign of brain problems. They are quite common especially when taking high doses and\or taking the stronger opiates like fentanyl or dilaudid, morphine ect......No need to worry....Dave
