Default Need the Latin Am= to Oxycodone. Help please.

Hello,
I am in Tegucigalpa Honduras for work for 3 months and am in need of some help. I have chronic back problems and take "Oxycodone w/APAP 5/325 tab" on an as-needed basis for the chronic pain. Foolishly I only brought down 6 pills, and just threw my back out again. I went to the hotel doctor who had no idea what "Oxycodone w/APAP 5/325 tab" was and wanted to give me something else. I refused because I know what works for me, and I did not want to take a risk with somethig else. The pharmacy did not know what "Oxycodone w/APAP 5/325 tab" was either. Does anyone know what the latin american equivalent is? They said I need a name for them to fill it. My US prescription is meaningless to them otherwise.
Any help is much appreciated.

Steve oxycodone is the actual drug name, maybe tell them the brand name Percocet, or a 5mg dose of Oxycontin, samething w/o the APAP. anyhow goodluck,
happen to know the name of what they were trying to perscribe? But to tell the truth i am shocked they don't know what oxycodone is, makes me think twice about their knowledge. mayne call a US hospital with a translator to make your ends meet.

This might not help, but here is the chemical name for Oxycodone:

14-hydroxydihydrocodeinone

Chemical formula: C18H21NO4·HCl

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~

Oh, and the APAP in your prescription, if it helps them at all, is Acetaminophen.

They should know the name percocet but you might also tell them endocet and tylox, oxy+apap. Same basic medication. When you get home, for new prescriptions, you may want to ask for 10/325's and break them in half. Less tylenol for your liver and stomach to deal with.
