Unhappy need answers

I have been taking norco 10\325 for five years now for back pain. I have three herniated discs in my lower back. I and my doctor want me to get off of these but hes not helping at all. other than lowering the amount of pills in my script. I am down to 3 to 3 1/2 pills a day but I am having a very hard time going lower for numerous reasons the two biggest are the wd from them has me terrified. my dad was a herion addict and what he went through was horrible. he is off of it but even three years later he still says he dont feel right. and the other big reason is that my back is still completly messed up . I really want to get off of these but as I said my doc is not giving me any help I guess he thinks that I can just stop taking them , I told him that I am having a hard time with this and his response was well you just have to force yourself to take less . if any body has any info on anythig that will help with the pain or the wd I would very much appriciate it.

thank you very much

Sorry we missed your post yesterday. We're usually very good about quick answers. You'll be getting more replies now.

It's good you've reduced your dose down to 3-3 1/2 norcos per day. That won't be too difficult to handle if you'll follow our suggestions.

I would suggest you read the following link for the Thomas Recipe. This is a proven method of lessening w/d symptoms during opiate detox. It won't make everything disappear, but it will make this tolerable. Let me know if you have any questions after reading the link. Good luck and God bless.
