MRSA and pets 8 months ago the most prescious friend in my life a ten year old samoyed dog called Bella died of MRSA - she was chasing a squirral when she ruptured her knee ligament - routine surgery cost her her life
Bella was the first recorded death in the world of a pet who died of MRSA
Watching her suffer and lose her life unecessarily left me traumatised and I set up an information website for pet owners which has now become a UK charity which helops pets suffering from MRSA and other serious post op infections
USA pet owners contact me frequently to tell me their stories of how their pets have contracted MRSA
Our pets are at risk from dirty hygiene the same way we as humans are from hospitals who do not take the necessary precautions to save lives
Routine surgery is killing people and now pets
For more information please visit www.pets-mrsa.com join in our forum discussion and read the research and my story www.thebellamossfoundation.com is the sister charity website
We need your help to raise awareness of MRSA in pets
