Default Migraines & Seizures

I don't know where to start, My son has had multiple concussions from sports and last March 06 he had his 5th one. He started to have migraines and doctor put him on depakote. He still had a migraine every day through out the summer and it was becoming unbearable for him in July. We took him back to the doctor before school started because we were afraid that it would interfere with his tough school schedule. At that time the doctor put him on lexapro. He still did not get any relief from the migraines at school. We were out of the country in early August and he had a seizure at school and we came home the next day and he seemed fine. He wanted to go to school that Friday and the school called and said that he was having seizures again. We took him to the hospital again and they ran a lot of test and said that it wasn't seizures the were stress episodes. I really didn't buy that but they sent him home after 5 days. After we were home a week (as he still had the migraines) we were referred to a local gentleman that did (lack of a better term) eastern medicine. This man adjusted his head and neck and then adjusted his back. After that was done my son was migraine free for 3 weeks. After the 3 weeks he had another seizure and we called for EMS again and we went to the hospital. They put him in a video EEG unit and kept him for an additional 4 days. The good news from the doctor was it wasn't epileptic seizures. I really didn’t think they were anyway. This specialist said they were stress related. I am a firm believer that the depakote has caused a chemical unbalance in his brain and that is what is causing this. He has experienced major mood swings while on this medicine. Needless to say we have stopped his depakote and I am hoping this will get his brain back on track. The only time he has a migraine is seconds before his seizure (episode). The doctor wants him to see a psychologist and he has put him on clonazepam. This has seemed to help but has had an episode today. Has anyone had this kind of issue while being on depakote. I am searching for any answers, because I don’t think the medical world is giving us any known answers. My son is almost 17 and is having a difficult time dealing with this….. One thing I forgot was his dosage for the depakote was 1000 mg/day
