I have been experiencing several stroke like neuro side effects with my migraines and, I have had a pretty full work-up. Long history. I would like to compare notes with others who have migraine's especially those who have, or know of someone who does have, neuro symptoms present with their migraines. I am also interested in learning about seizure activity from those who have experienced it. I have read ALL the litterature but, I want to hear from PEOPLE not a textbook. I would love to hear what anyone has experienced or, what anyone knows......Thank you....Peace...Erin

I have migraine disorder, but no real neuro symptoms along with them. I do get seizures regularly, but I have a benign primary brain tumor that the doc says probably is responsible for both migraines and seizures. But its impossible to tell for sure. I've never had a migraine cause a seizure though, never even heard of migraine causing a seizure. But I can see how it could be possible.

I am a 34 year old female. I have had severe migraines for 10 years. I have had them with and without an aura. In case you didn't know an aura is where you have tunnel vision. Everything is blurry and you can only see right in front of you. My doctor prescribed Maxalt about six months ago and it was a miracle drug until I started having stroke like symptoms about a week ago. My hand and foot started going to sleep then I started having chest pains. This happened when I would be walking through the house or laying down to sleep at night. Then I started having a hard time swallowing. Two days ago I had several tests ran. EKG, x ray, blood work, CT scan with dye they ran through my veins. Nothing found. I do not know what is wrong with me. I have read other testimonies where people have had the same effects after taking Maxalt. I just want to know if the symptoms will ever stop! I will be happy to just live with my migraines again.
