I know this seems kinda weird , but when I quit , it was because I realized it wasn't acctually the Effect of the drug I was addicted to , because you're already as high as you're going to get from just the antisapation of doing it before you even do , from there its just maintaining your high. For me my addiction was the going through the motions of getting high not the actual high it self. If you find this to be the case for you then just find something healthy to replace the motions. Don't get me wrong it's deffinatly no easy task, but addmitting there is a problem one of the bigger steps. wanting help and seeking it is major to this means you can do it ,just don't give up . Oh, and don't start even a little once you commit.
Good Luck and you are in my prayers.

All I can contribute is that I have been on and off meth for the last 15 years. I is very difficult to stop. You can either go get help or what I do is find some place safe where I can sleep, sleep, sleep, and slowly become healthy through vitamins and an exercise routine. Start out slow with exercise because you might experience the feeling of a heart attack. It takes about two weeks of sleep and vitamins and someone who will be tolerant of major mood swings. Then once I am clean for about a month I begin looking into support groups or will confide in my doctor. Then they suggest NA or some other source of help and support. Basically it is hard and it is up to you to do it. The longer you stay off, it will get eaiser. Try to figure out what are the triggers for you. What makes you want to do it and confront that too. At any rate, I hope I do not sound harsh. Good luck and in your mind realize you are stong and capible.
