Methadone detox question

I am detoxing off of methadone. I am currently at about 20 mgs. per day. At what point does one generally experience the euphoric effects of opiates again? The reason I ask is that I had major surgery last week, was given two extra strength Vicodin and felt nothing as far as what I expected to feel. I have been on methadone for 7 years, having at one time been on 150 mgs. a day (three years ago), to today's dose of about 20 mgs.

You have to remember that methadone is a strong narcotic so your tolerance is high.Even 20 mgs of methadone is way stronger than a couple exst vicodin.........Dave
