I was looking for anyone that has kicked this evil beast ie.lots and lots of pills ( 250 mg a day of hydro on a good day ) using methadone and what to expect.
I tried the suboxone way after about $5000 i just could'nt afford it any longer. sure it helped with the withdrwals but did nothing for the cravings. I'm sorry for any miss spellings but today is a VERY hard day.
I have an ap on tues. at a clinic and needed to know what to expect.

Erin, Welcome to this forum! I used methadone for 2 weeks but it was just to make myself feel better mentally. I was only taking a quarter of a 40mg. I can't help you much there but I do post on another thread and they have a board just about methadone. Not that this isn't a great board but you will find alot of people using methadone now. Sorry I can't help you personally.

How did you make out? Find anything worth looking at? I still can't sleep at night but I refuse to take anything at this point. It sucks. I know it will pass and I will go to sleep but I wish it came sooner! My friends tell me I don't try hard enough but, i'm not one of those people that can stare at the alarm clock! Wish I was! Just an update had my app. today went very well . I'm not thrilled about the talk it out stuff but I know i need it. I'll try and keep you updated on my progress.
